Piers and Jetties .With the Tweed and Gold Coast regions located on the coast, the river mouths constantly require dredging. Sand pumping jetties have been built adjacent to the Nerang River on the Gold Coast Seaway at at Fingal Beach adjacent to the Tweed River. Both this locations offer excellent opportunites for long exposure photography.
